Hope it lasts until summer so I can put all kinds of hours on my boat.

This!

Depends on the state, in the Northeast never. To many road taxes on fuel.

Likely to be near bottom at this point. This is temporary weirdness and market manipulation...don't get used to it, don;t make purchases and plans based on low gas prices staying low. This may last for 6 months if we are lucky.

in fact you should do the opposite.

The fuel efficient cars should be getting ignored, and so you maybe able to get a good deal on one.

I don't believe so....the Saudis at the behest of the US and
Global Banking Interests are trying to destroy Russia via
economic warfare. I think it is possible that oil could drop to 25$/barrel or less. However I hate to think of the consequences of such warfare. Russia will NOT take this attack lying down, also the other consequence is that our own oil and gas producing business is being destroyed as well. Bottom line is extremely low prices will damaging our own interests in the US as well, but the evil globalists don't give a rats behind they have proven time and time again that their interests do NOT coincide with our own US interests.

I have to vent my own personal rant of the day. I am tired of hearing how the low oil prices are bad for the economy. I really don't care if energy stocks are down and the DOW loses a few hundred points. My 401k will suffer a bit. Oh well. For nearly a decade gas has cost 3 - 4 dollars a gallon and it has been a real drag on the economy as wages have been stagnant. I drive a lot for work, so I am really seeing the difference in my wallet. So stop telling me how this is bad for the economy. You can easily correlate the increase in energy prices to the decrease in our economy. It just seems like we have to twist every bit of news into a negative point of view for some reason - the benefit of someone or something.

The government always makes far more profit per gallon than the oil companies. They don't earn it, nor have any risk in it. Yet people complain about 'big oil' and their profits.

Not to diminish your point but it's funny: so seldom do you see the words Government and Profit in the same sentence

Huh?
How is consumers with less money spent on fuel, meaning more money to spend elsewhere bad for the economy.
It's bad for the oil companies economy however the rest of the buying public wins.

Bottom? When I was at college back in 1999 if I remember correctly, price per barrel was 10 (ten) dollars.

The California State Senate is already talking about the opportunity to raise gasoline taxes because of the drop in the price of oil.

If politicians had to work for a living they might see the wisdom of living on a budget like us ordinary working people.

PETRODOLLAR. Cheap petro=cheap dollar. cheap gas today means 60 dollar loaf of bread in 5 years to me.
