For those of you that do frequent oil analysis on your cars, do you notice a change in the results during the very cold winter months? (if you live in an area that goes well below freezing that is)

I'm just curious as to whether or not I'm going to see an increase in wear metals in the winter due to the longer time it takes for the engines to warm up?

I haven't seen any in over 10 years and multiple cars. Other then fuel as a percentage of volume which may be higher in the colder months due to excessive idling to warm up engine and/or short trips when the engine does not heat up enough to burn it off..

I shouldn't see that with my car, since it never does short trips, and I also never idle it to warm it up, even if it's 0F outside. I always start it and immediately drive away (gently mind you)
