OCI kawasaki FX engine

Apparantly my gravely mower requires 50hr oil changes. It says nothing in the manual, but the hour meter display flashes change oil every fifty hours. Since it never said anything in the manual I went ahead and followed the Kawasaki engine manual which recommends oil to be changed every 100hrs and oil filter every 200hrs. What do you guys think? I'm running 15w40 delo in it right now. I put 1300hrs on a 6hp FJ180v Kawasaki engine running amsoil small engine oil every 100hrs and the engine looks brand new when taking off the valve cover. I did do an oil analysis on the 6hp and they said to run it to 150hrs. Do you think running 100hr oci on the bigger engine on my gravely is too much? I would trust the engine manual before I trusted the mower manufacturer recommendation, what do they know about oil changes?

I change the oil in my car approx. 150 hours. That's water cooled.

Depending on use it probably wouldn't hurt it if that engine has an oil filter.

I do know that both Gravelys and Kawasaki engines are very expensive and oil is cheap.

I do maintenance on a few commercial mowers, and with the price of parts, engines, and mowers the oil changes every 100 hours are worth it.

Gravely calls for every 50hrs, but seeing as to how well my smaller 6hp Kawasaki engine looks inside on my 21" mower I think 100 would be fine and yes it has an oil filter. Actually both the 6hp and the 15.5hp engine has one. The bigger one has an external Donaldson canister air filter also. I'm at 90hrs right now and the oil on the dipstick is still brown.

Kawaski specs 100hrs.
My 6.75hp has a conservative 750 hours. It has seen oci's ranging from 80 to 120hrs. It runs great still after a decade of harsh operation.
the oil gets dark, never black.
