I put my scanner on my 08 Forrester and the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) reads 12% at no throttle. If anyone has a Late model Subaru and and OBD II, I would appreciate some numbers. Subaru Tech did say at 0% TPS there is .35 volts. So it might be normal.

All my GM vehicles read 0% at idle, but my Jeep Cherokee always says 18%. It is probably normal for your vehicle. You should buy a factory manual so you'll have the specs.

Thanks guys. Factory Manuals are now probably more than 1000 bucks.

My Haynes just doesn't give the output ranges.

My public library has Mitchell's On Demand. It's good for looking things up when you really don't want to buy the factory service manual because it's not your car.
