I recently found this product in a nearby autoparts shop, and I've got a bit lifter noise in my car. I wasn't able to find AutoRX in my place, so what do u guys think about this stuff by its formulation? How is it compared to ARX and how long should I let it stay in the motor?

INGREDIENTS:
mineral oil 10-30%
ethylene glycol monobutyl ether 10-30%
aromatic hydrocarbon solvent 10-30%
isopropanol 1-5%
nonylphenol, ethoxylated 1-10%
additives 1-10%

First lifter free in not even close to Auto-Rx. You will not be able to find Auto-Rx localy for the most part. You have to order it. It really does not have a national distribution network just yet.

The product you mention is nothing more then cheap solvents and is worthless by comparision to Auto-RX! Auto-Rx works slowly over 1500 miles to completly clean the inside of your engine of third party abrasives. The solvent based stuff you mentioined is only going to clean lose material on the serface. Auto-Rx conditions seals without dammageing them. It does not swell them or anything like that.

The product you mentioned might free the lifter but it will not do anything for the rest of the engine! It would not be wise to leave that product in the engine very long and I would not drive the vechile with it in their either!

P.S. Does your handle reflect your practice of the Russian Martials Art of Systema?????
