I enjoyed reading the "jokes", political, religious, or otherwise! People need to lighten up and get the chips off their shoulders...if that is what the problem is.

I'm lovin' the market blog.

Can we talk about girls we only admired from afar?

I also like to talk about my Dogs,

Willow my 9 month old GSP and Bella my 5 month old Bracco Italiano (Italian Pointer)

I also like to talk about Bicycling, Motorcycles, Guns, Knives, organic fertilizer and other goofy stuff.

I'm also thinking about joining the American Chestnut foundation to help restore the American Chestnut which was once more common than the Oak tree.

I'm also into Monolithic Domes. http://www.monolithic.org/

Oh I also love Beer, wine, whiskey and rum we can also talk about those right?

Oh since I have bird dogs I'll also talk about quail, pheasant, and grouse hunting and restoring habitat.

I thought the political topics were of great interest. I seem to think , or should i say thought, that we were a community of friends who could talk about things other than just oil too...

NEW INVENTION FROM TEXAS

A scientist from Texas A&M University has invented a bra that keeps women's breasts from jiggling and prevents the nipples from pushing through the fabric when cold weather sets in.

At a news conference announcing the invention, a large group of men took the scientist outside and kicked the stuff out of him.

Would that be Sex, politics, or religion?

We've hosted some high school exchange students and have been active with the program for a few years. The students are usually warned by the organizations in their host country to avoid discussions about politics or religion when they come over to the US.

I have a couple of good pecan pie recipes to share.

I agree deeply personal topics such as religion and family should be off limits. However, I don’t see a problem with the other banned topics, unless the discussion degenerates to racist or blatantly inflammatory comments. There isn’t anything inherently wrong with a heated discussion that may upset someone from time to time.

I decided to censor myself after reading Dans post below and deleted my comment that was here.

Even if I often don't agree with our primarily right leaning moderators, they are providing us with a valuable service. They are also doing a job that most other people won't do. So moderators, thanks for keeping this ship afloat even if you are a bunch of biased right wingers
