well I finished my auto-rx cycle and now i'm noticing my drain plug leaking. Is this normal since the cycle cleaned up everything in my engine?

Do you use crushable drain plug washer?
actually the one thats on there wasn't a crushable one,
so i went to the honda dealer and asked for a new drain plug and a few crushed washers. He looked at me funny when i asked for crushable washers and just gave me regular ones and said this is what they use, not sure if he knew what he was talking about.

If it's aluminum or bronze than that's the correct type of washer to be used.
Make sure that you have your original washer removed from the drain bolt before you put on the new one. I've seen more leaks due to such negligence than anything else.

Honda? Then yeah, if they gave you aluminum washers, they're crush washers. The aluminum is soft and conforms to the irregularities of the contact surfaces of the drain plug and oil pan and provides the seal. They are so cheap, there's no reason to reuse them.

Teflon plumbers tape is a bad idea. It is made for tapered pipe threads where there is no shoulder for a gasket. Shards of the teflon tape could be left in the internal threads and next time pushed into the oil sump.
Oil drain plug gaskets can be fiber, nylon, copper, aluminum, or neoprene inserted in a steel ring. All work. A real crush washer is something different...it is a tapered washer that is designed to crush a specific amount for setting a ball bearing into just the right position on a shaft and other uses.

well thanks for your info, i didn't know about the different crush washers. I also will not attempt the teflon tape now.
Anyone else think the tape on the drain bolt is a bad idea?
I am running ARX is my bike right now and have several leaks after 700 miles.
I had, until this weekend, a fram sure drain on my 89 SHO. Horrible after the first oil drain
