specifically the 2022 Palisaide at Auto Zone, DR12P part number..

2022 Hyundai Palisade.

No one had it in-stock. Dealer says they do online but they didn't. Anyway, I found these which fit perfectly...but aren't supposed to.

I'm a stickler for standardization and don't understand why rear wipers need to be unique unto themselves. It's still just a wiper blade.

Good on you, you should post on any H/K forums you might be part of.

I cut the (front) arms on our Tundra and welded on J-hooks so now the average dime store blade works.

I'm working on founding Citizens Against Proprietary Wiper Blade Attachment Points, but first we gotta run some focus groups to find a name that's less of a mouthful 😀

Because automakers just have to make everything look all barbie starbucks fashon nowadays so no "ugly" rear wiper like on my old yukon even though it's great. The escalade has a worse functioning hidden rear wiper that also isn't the standard kind to make it look better when in use so no j hook even though one can barely see it during the rain anyway and it hides completely when not in use.

I had an analogous experience with my 2007 Volvo V70 rear blade.
The decorative shrouding on several aftermarket brands didn't work/match or fit.
Why the clown designers chose to involve the decorative skirting instead of just employing "a blade swap" is a mystery.
Bosch's offering fits perfectly, so I've been staying with them.
Do note that buying one at a dealership was not going to happen.
