No More Valvoline Blue?

My local Tractor Supply stores have stopped carrying Valvoline Premium Blue 15w40 here in Northern Calif. Has anyone else noticed this?

Or is it just a regional thing?


I hate the idea of standing in line at WalMart to stock up on oil again...

Perhaps more likely to be a marketing thing at TSC. Have you asked them about the change, or just made a presumption? The fact they don't stock it does not mean they cannot get it. It is a catalog item for them; look on their site.

Then don't. There are lots of other well qualified HDEOs that likely would do what you need the lube to do, available at a lot of different places. .

They just started stocking($14.99) it here in Fl at my TSC.

Valvoline seems to update their web site reasonably often; seems to still be a listed product fwiw.

I was in my local Rural King and saw VPB for $13.99. Not a great price, but somewhat normal by today's standards.

I don't think there are Rural King stores out west; the compete with TSC in the mid-west. They may grow their market regions as time goes by. The are a good alternative to TSC; compeition is good! I like both, but I really like them competing for my money.

But like I said, there are plenty of other good oils to choose from. Either get a different lube, or ask them to order VPB. I suspect either approach will work just and you can avoid the trip to Walmart.

TSC stocks the "Travellers Brand" of HDEO. FWIW....I've known people who like the oil.
