Proud to see people with so much integrity still around!

Best of luck to you sir.

Johnny, I'm another one who will miss your special insight and your highly informative and useful posts, especially where SOPUS was concerned.

Best of luck in your new position.

As an old retired military guy & hands-on engineer, I enjoyed reading what you had to say. It was always straight to the point and credible.....not a lot of fluff. Never had to wonder what you meant, which I like. But as the father of a few college kids I fully understand. Good luck to you, I hope it is a position that you enjoy, that's what is important.

Well Johnny sorry to loose your valuable insight into a fantastic company, but in all sincerity good luck with your new job and hope all goes extremely well. Will still look forward to you keeping everyone in line.

Haha answer this last question if you can, why do the new PP bottles suck so much, they slop clean oil everywhere!

Haha

Seriously though, enjoy the new employment and good luck!

You know, in over 22 years, not once did they ask me about a bottle design. They have had some good ones and they have had some bad ones. This too will pass.

Thanks for all the well wishes from everyone.

Please post the names of your Shell contacts and then get the heck out of here.

Yeah, Pablo's constant Amsoil spam gets annoying. *snicker*

Almost as much as Sportster spam.

That was their request to me and I told them I would not. I hope everyone can understand.

I will still read and post from time to time, but not as a retired Pennzoil employee.

I am asking that Helen and the moderators leave my avatar the way it is as I am a retired Pennzoil employee and proud of it.

Carry on,

Johnny: I have enjoyed reading your posts on SOPUS products, especially those concerning Pennzoil Platinum. Your insight was the main reason that I decided to use Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20 in place of Mobil 1 5W-20 in my wife's 2006 Pilot. Thanks for posting quality information and I wish you success. I do have one question, however, why would you be held to a confidentiality agreement if your new employer does not deal in automotive lubrication? I understand if you choose not to answer, but am simply curious why your employer would be concerned about this.

Because they are very involved in Commercial and Industrial business and Shell is one of their main competitors, therefore no contact with Shell.

Johnny - Thanks for the great information over the past years. Good luck in the new job. Are you prohibited from posting your opinions on PCMO topics? Keep on posting even though it won't be SOPUS related.

Prof.
