I was at my local Walmart and they did not have any Maxlife ATF or any Valvoline Dex/Merc ATF as they did beore whenever I looked. All there was were a few bottles of Supertech ATF type F and Dex/Merc and not even any ST Dex VI like before. Those gallon jugs of Maxlife and the ST Dex VI were a pretty good deal. I know what Walmart carries can vary by location, but it seems Walmart tends to stop carrying things you'd want to buy. Has anyone else noticed less ATF available?

They never have Maxlife ATF in stock at my local Wal-Mart. Although more often than not they have it in the back. I think the TLE employees know a bargain when they see one.

The things is before they had a place for the Maxlife even if it should sell out, but now the shelves are rearranged and there's no space for the ATF. If it was selling well and it seemed like it was, it makes no sense Walmart would stop carrying it.

Screw WM's ATF selection...

Right now you can order ATF online at Advance Auto, pick in-store pick up, and use the $15 off coupon code... I paid ~$3.50/qt for Valvoline MaxLife Dex/Merc (bought 8 quarts) after all that (regular price was $5.29/qt) and I didnt have to fight the crowds at urban...err I mean wal-mart.

Yeah that sounds like the way to go. I don't think I ever saw 8-12 qts of Maxlife available at one time at Walmart anyway. Plus I never used ST ATF and have no use for it even if it is supposed to be Dex VI licensed.

I don't think I ever saw Valvoline ATF at Walmart. They have Stupertech and Castrol. They might have gallon jugs of Pennzoil ATF, but I can't remember off hand. They have gallon Stupertech and Castrol also.

Walmarts vary, mine always had Valvoline and Maxlife but no Castrol, but as I mentioned not now. Some other Walmarts in town had Pennzoil Dex/Merc. But it was the Maxlife that was a steal.

My local Wally's oil department sucks eggs. They haven't had any Dex VI in months, and only occasional stray bottles of Mercon V.

They were out of MC 5W-20 jugs for almost 2 months and there are always huge gaps in the plan-o-gram.

Oil anf atf selection definitely varies from region to region....

Here at my Walmart we got loads of SuperTech ATF+4, the "MultiVehicle" (basically DEX/MERC....), then they got another "Dex/Marc" bottle...lol, but as far as non-ST brands, all we got it Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle, and Castrol High Mileage MultiVehicle....

No Valvoline or MaxLife ATF....unless they are just out right now.
