Presenting the only oil to meet this new certification:
Mercury 25w40 synthetic blend (the new stuff priced at $14.99 a gallon) the NMMA site does list the test specifications but not the results for this oil.
This oil meets no other specification there is no API certification on the label. The old Mercury 25w40 carried no certification of any kind on the label, which saved the company a lot of money and the formula can be changed at any time without the expense of having to be re-tested.
Does anyone have a source for specifications of this new 25w40?
