Nissan Frontier - Cold Weather Startup Noise

Ok, I was not aware Nissan recommended DEX6 as an acceptable PS fluid.
Typically the older thicker Dex3 fluids were what were used in PS systems.

As long as Nissan says it is ok, It may actually work better in the cold weather due to the thinner formulation of Dex6.

count me interested in this older thread as i have an 11 SV so far good except rear wheel bearings + a clutch job at under 50 thou, but buying preowned even lo mile is a crap shoot! i really like the truck overall though!! would like to know what fixed the issue or was it traded!!
