Nexen N'Fera Sport R 200tw extreme performance tires

Absolutely! On track, a lot of negative camber will save tires.
Especially on a mac-strut car like this. Was at -2 before the new arms, gained some plus caster which also helps the dynmamic camber. Here's some footage from VIR:

We don't have nearly as long straights as VIR. I can see why tires can last that long.
This is High Plains Raceway:

Son balanced them. Added 3M 600 deg foil tape over the weights. Read to go!

Annnnd they're done. 2 days did it. 15 total days for ~60 heat cycles. I'll get them again. Each "Z" tread on the outside started wearing through the inner layer. A bit lumpy now. Honestly they wern'et bad even during my last session, biggest thing I noted is the degradation of braking and just a hair slower lap times.

4 more ordered - 245/40/17. $960 delivered from True Performance Motorsport out in CA. They don't do heat cycling so I'll do what I did with the current set - just take an hour highway drive with some cloverleafs to get them warmed up then come home, remove, and let sit. That was the guidance I was giving for heat cycling on the street.

Cancel that - only had 2 245/40/17s available - looks like no more stock coming until 2026. Bummer, great lapping tire. Went with the now infamous and world-famous...Vitour Tempesta P1!

I don't see any weaknesses there. I mean Michelin is ranked lower, but at 140mph, I would rather have Michelin or Bridgestone when it comes to reliability.
From what I understand, they are Chinese brand?
The Falkens (660) have had all sorts of issues with tread delay. The Vitours are the pointy end right now based on Andy Hollis's recent GRMS testing for super 200s. Lots of folks racing these

Ah ok. Didn’t know that.
You can do a bit of Googling and find lots of pictures, I see them regularly in the FB world of car groups, friends, etc. Fast tires for sure. I'd say the pointy end is these Vitours, the Nankangs, and the RE71s if you want a tire that comes up to temp fast for autoX or TT or just want something to be a bit faster on track knowing they may get overheated with lots of beating vs. others like the Nexus I have or Kumho 730s, others. The other new one are the Hoosier Track Attack 200s.

I saw Azenis a lot on track, especially Miata guys. That is why I am asking.
I would say it depends on track too. VIR is fast, much faster than HPR, which is more technical track.
As for other tires, I am not paying more than $170 for 225/45 R17. I ran all kind of tires, but mostly 220-280wt. They warm up to operating temperature faster and storing is not an issue in winters here. I tracked some days when temperature was below 30. Heck I tracked one March on Bridgestone DriveGuards. Was one of the fastest on the track. No one could warm up tires properly.
