I know nothing about it other than it’s red, the transmission feels good, it definitely rear ended someone, and it runs good albeit with a pretty good pull to the right. Perfect for a work beater!

Edit: I paid $800, and it’s a 2006

On the drive home it was reading 34mpg, which compared to my trucks 16 is pretty good! It also only took 11 gallons to fill from almost E.

Awesome!!!

I'm currently working on my 2002 Sunfire beater. She's rougher but perfect to get me to work and put miles on. That's the great thing about these things, if you hit a deer, just pull the plate and walk home.

I drive an 09 G5 with 223k everyday.
Timing chain rattles on start up, exhaust knocks and bangs, suspension squeaks and knocks, it’s rusted to heck, but it burns NO oil and the AC runs ice cold.
I will drive it until it literally falls apart on me, might be the best car I have ever owned.

That’s my plan for this one. AC isn’t quite ice cold, but it does work!

There were many of these & seem to be somewhat thinning out. I need to check sales data to compare how many of these vs Cavalier's. Good little ripper.. let us know how many miles you get out of this one.

Nothing like having a car you don't have to worry about getting stolen.

My little 2016 Ford Focus is getting a little worse MPG now then when I was working. But just over 34 MPG. 12 gallon fuel tank with a manual 5 speed. I'm literally driving it till I'm 6 feet under. Or till they take my license away......

My wife has already threatened promised to paint stuff all over it. I think she’s going with cats 😅

Rust killed all of those up here in the Midwest. The fuel and brake lines are wrapped in foil back near the rear axle, a spot that loved to collect water and salt.

For $800, you done good. The 2.2 is bulletproof and if it's free of rust it's definitely worth fixing. The pull is probably just worn front end parts, everything is cheap and it's electric power steering so the rack isn't a worry. Throw the cheapest tie rod ends, LCA's and quick struts on it and ride.
