New to me 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport S

You can add proximity keyless entry. The one thing I wish my '19 JLUR had. Still, it's like ~$700 in parts so not a cheap mod.

I'll threaten (right now) to do it, but the odds I'll ever find the time are near zero.

I hate digging that cinder block out of my pocket to unlock when my hands are full.

Were the 21s affected by the door-hinge corrosion issue? The steel hinge and the aluminum doors (and hood and tailgate) react badly and create aluminum oxide "rust" which bubbles the paint and causes white flaky corrosion to appear.

My brother has (I think) a '19 and he has had his "fixed" twice already.

Awesome Jeep. Love mine! Any mods planned?

Welcome to the club! I have a 2020 JLU that does not get driven much either since I got a job with a company provided vehicle. The smiles per mile are high with this rig! Enjoy yours.

Watch for some corrosion around the hinges and lower door edges. My 2020 had it on mine and got it fixed this past January. The warranty on mine for corrosion is up in July. You've got 5 years, even if you are not the first owner.

Sweet! Looks great.

This is the 2021 Sahara 4xe that I picked up in October 2023 to replace my 1999 Sahara TJ that I bought in 2002. I've added a Quadratec dead pedal and sill guards along with an AEV/Bilstein steering damper. I also have a set of new Rubicon take-offs to eliminate the "mall crawler" vibe- they will be fitted with either BFG K03s or Pirelli Scorpion XTMs. We hope to keep it a long time.

Use truck bed liner on hinges, prevents metal to metal contact and therefore no corrosion.

Have had this 2012 since new. Running 5w-30 syn since new. 114,000 miles on it now. (no issues)
Bought new hinges after 6 years and had them powder coated than painted. Rare color (Winter Chill) This one is a lifetime keeper.

Since we're doing Jeep pics, my Wife's '21 Wrangler Sport Cape beach car, Pentastar w/ wind up windows and a 6 speed. Only options are a/c and upgraded wheels and tires. I added flaps, side steps and Koito H4's replacing the cute but awful OE halogens. Waxoyl kit is in the garage waiting for a few nice days to apply. Look into the Carhartt seat covers, pricey but very durable and easy to clean; dogs, teenage daughter and friends.... Redline 0w-30 since this is BITOG.

I have a set of black 2020 Rubicon take off wheels I'm considering putting on my 2019 Sport S. IMO, they would look sharp on my Jeep. I replaced the hardtop panels with the Sunrider top and that was a great investment. I put the hardtop panels in the storage building and haven't touched them in a couple years. I also removed the plastic fillers between the front fender and bumpers.
