Added this to my fleet. 2021 Pentastar 30k miles certified pre owned. Won’t be driven much, probably explore some back mountain class 4 roads to fishing spots.

First tip - and you may have seen it from CarbonSteel or myself is the differentials shed for about 20k and fluid choice matters little. They don’t hold much and have plugs. Any popular brand at all just to get clean gear oil in there for the first year of ownership.

Great tip! Thanks. I’ll be servicing the diffs, trans, and transfer case in short order so I’m starting fresh.

Congrats on the good purchase. Always loved the look of the 2 door and dark gray and for as much as I like dark gray I've never owned a vehicle in that color. If GM ever does get rid of afm in their v8's I may buy one in dark gray. I'd take the pentastar over the turbo 4. I think the wheels looks ok but this is one of the few vehicles where I'd also want black rims on. Black rims really would look great with the dark gray and black trim.

Since it's a jeep you could go for a nice classy large hole black steelie look and it'd look great. I can't stand over styled black rims on trucks/suv's. They look ridiculous and cringey/mall crawler-esque. The simpler more oem black rims looks fine on them. I think 17 in the minimum but maybe 16 could fit but i wouldn't want the headache in unsuccessfully trying.

This is what I mean by over styled. https://www.customwheelsexpress.com/images/thumbs/500_500/Fuel-D581-Triton-1.jpg

Something like this would look nice and proper for a jeep at least to my eyes and it's what I'd get on mine.

Love it! 2dr, hard top, full doors, the color is great, the miles are low. Did it ever see winter/salt?

I had a 1997 TJ hard top, 2.5L 5MT years ago. Bought it 1yr old with 6K miles on it.
Yes I’m in the rust belt but it’s been oil undercoated.
