New tires ordered - Continental ProContact

I just ordered a new set of tires for my wifes 06 Civic Hybrid - Continental ProContact with ecoPlus - 195/65 R15.

Getting them installed by Mike in Niagara Falls, NY next weekend.

Looking forward to seeing what difference it makes to the average fuel consumption. I'm averaging 43 mpg now on the worn Dunlops (don't remember the model).

IIRC, new tires don't give as good gas mileage as worn tires. You may not see much difference.

Yes, I'm expecting it to drop. Hopefully it won't drop too much.

We're running those on my wife's Mazda 3, in 205/55R16. Seem to be good tires so far, and a good improvement over the OEM Toyos (and wearing much better too).

Like rationull, I ran those same tires in the same size & they were ok - not bad. However, I'm now running Dunlop SP Sport Signature in the same size & like them better.
