Nothing new. I came to Big O tires and owner of the shop tries to sell me Michelin CC2 after I asked for Continental VC7 or Michelin X-Ice Snow. His pitch: it is “best” tire.

Yeah. The worst part was his persistence after I said I was looking for specific snow tires, emphasizing SNOW. You would think he would figure out I know what I am looking for, but no, he keeps insulting my intelligence.

Agreed, just saw where Falken has come out with a new all-weather tire.

Well, tgey didn’t have it in that size. Had to go WS90 from Costco. Plus, adter that conversation, I highly doubt I would get it anyway.

I was at 72 today. Same as Michelin. I think they ride harder. I got home the pressure was 40 s/b 35

I dunno what the deal is but witnessed a few tire shops doing 40psi on their customers tires regardless what pressures were supposed to be.

I got a chance finally to lower the pressure down to 35 which is recommended. Vehicle rides much smoother and quieter then Michelins

Maybe because it is the best tire....By the way Michelin has a 70.00 rebate now...also If you open a big o tire credit card sometimes they have a rebate on that too...
