New Struts in car with 205k?

I originally thought the op was talking $500 per axle.
After reading the second post I realized he was wanting to replace all 4.
If I could find a shop to change all 4 monroe sensatrac struts with an alignment for $600,I'd jump on it.
Might be cheaper with some cheap generic struts,but I wouldn't waste the money,IMHO.
I have a feeling after all is said and done,it could possibly be a few hundred dollars more.
We shall see.

I'd check on ebay,i see a lot of good deals on shocks and struts there.

I replaced the front struts at 200k myself. I repacked the mount bearings with wheel bearing grease. IIRC, the OEM hydro shocks were 150$ a pair.
