Bottom line is it will do what is required.
On top of that, the retailer is willing to put a decent warranty on it.
Perfect battery for someone who is down on their luck, has a car that they are getting rid of soon, or who is just thrifty.
I've had a mix of all kind of batteries. I've had cheap ones that have gone beyond minimal expectations, and I have had some expensive ones that were total disappointments. It's luck of the draw sometimes.
If it meets ones needs, go for it. They could do a whole lot worse.

I put a RK battery in my Mazda last fall. This summer my alternator belt broke about 20 minutes from home and the battery had enough reserve for me to drive it home. For $55 I think that’s pretty good.

Just wanted to update - tested that battery today approx 1 yr in and it’s still going very strong.

How long did u wait before making the measurement? It should be a 24 hr wait or after a 100% battery charge and then a 30 sec headlamp on discharge. Whatever u choose this will be ur baseline measurement to assess future degradation for replacement.

I turn the headlights on for 15 seconds, then remove from vehicle.
