With the new regulations coming out affecting the shipping of some products in order to improve homeland security, it may be necessary for products to undergo changes. Perhaps if fuel and motor oil supplements were derived from natural materials these products would be unaffected by the new regulations.

I would assume that Auto-RX, which is derived from natural materials, would be unaffected by the new regulations.

But Fuel Power and Lube Control might be affected, especially Fuel Power.

It seems to me that the soy-based fuel additive that Schaeffer's sells would be unaffected, since it is derived from natural material.

Maybe it would depend on the flashpoint also of the product, and not just if it was made from natural materials. It seems to me that if something is made from nautral materials, it would be less likely to be affected.

Auto-RX has a high flashpoint and is made from natural materials.

But a lot of fuel addtives will surely be affected by the new regualations. I wonder if the soy-based Schaeffer fuel additive will be affected, since it is made from natural materials. It may depend on the flashpoint of that fuel additive.

The fact that a product is made from natural materials is meaningless. Asbestos is a natural material. So is natural gas. Both are very highly regulated.

All fuel additives are HazMat including SoyShield and SoyUltra. Schaeffer's Citrol degreaser is made from orange rinds. It's on the new list of hazardous items.

Good point Ken. Anthrax is an all natural product. No need to regulate good, natural cocaine. What about extract of poison ivy? Turpentine is distilled from pine tree stumps, so it goes free, but not mineral spirits? Just because more lenient treatment of natural products is ridiculous, won't stop the government from doing it.
