New optic: Leupold VX3i LRP 4.5-14x50

My new deer scope for my Remington 700, wife got it for me today as a belated birthday present.

Glass is REALLY impressive for the price, which was $1,200.00CDN.

First Focal Plane, TMR reticle, MIL/MIL.

OK, well neither could I, LOL, so I just installed the rail, set the eye relief and then tightened everything down:

That's my expectation. I had a higher mag VX3 on my old .308 and was really happy with it. This scope, despite actually costing me less, is an upgrade.

I'm more surprised how clear it is relative to the much higher dollar scope I have on my .338LM however.

The smart way is to use Burris Signature Rings you don't make up your expensive scopes with ring marks.
