As AV Lubricants is a major distributor of their products, I'm certain Mobil would immediately want to address your concerns.

I agree 100%.

I found an OLD (to me) bottle of Clean 5000 5w30. The bottle has about 200ml left.

The code on the bottle is:
97Y891T3014003
Below that is tough to read but best guess:
P041310F ( the 3 is ROUGH guess, could be a 2 )

I only ever bought Clean ONCE, so I know this bottle is at least 8 months old.

If anyone wants it for sample, just let me know where to send.

Since no one has updated this UOA showing that this oil does not contain sodium. It is now proof that Mobil Drive Clean 5000 does contain 200+ PPM of sodium.

I agree. George, where are you? You claimed to have all these UOA's....whats the deal?

So what effect will all this sodium have within the engine compartment? Does it aid in cleaning more, or is the sodium only helping the oil to last longer?

This is Sodium Sulfonate (like Calcium Sulfonate)
From google: Sodium Alkyl Aryl Sulfonate is used as an emulsifier for lubricants and as a corrosion inhibitor to protect metals
And: Motor Oil and Fuel Additives
The sodium sulfonates are often converted to calcium or barium salts for this application; however, in some situations the sodium sulfonates may be preferred. Detergency and rust inhibitive properties are the most important functions when used as additives.

See practicingoilanalysis dot com:
In an engine oil formulation, the next most common additive is the detergent. This additive is typically present in the oil at about 2 percent to 3 percent. Detergents are used primarily to control acids formed by the combustion of impurities found in the fuel. However, it does have some ability to “wash” the metal surfaces of organic deposits. There are several types of detergents that are used in these formulations. The most important of these are sulfonates. The chemistry of the sulfonate is somewhat similar to the dispersant in that it has a hydrocarbon tail and a polar head. The hydrocarbon tail is much shorter, being only a C-16 to C-30 alkyl benzene. The polar head is the salt of a sulfonic acid, typically calcium, magnesium or sodium. In addition to this neutral sulfonate salt, the detergent typically contains an excessive amount of metal carbonate, which is incorporated in the center of the micelle. ...

George was supposed to look in to this but has never got back to us.

He doesn't want to post that mobil clean has sodium in their add pack. It's hard to admit your wrong.

Buster,
in a previous post I indicated that I had talked with Lucile, senior lube engineer and she in fact indicated that she had no knowledge of that level sodium contained in Mobil 5000 formulation..
And as I also indicated in a previous post on the thread that was stopped, I too have 2 independent labs which indicate low/no sodium...
ALSO, Buster, I indicated that our lab DID indeed return high NA for the sample that indicated high sodium in the other two labs. Thus I CAN account for our lab results.. However, I cannot account for the source of 5000 which has the high sodium.
I review 100+ oil analysis results a day for fleets using Mobil 5000 in their company vehicles.. Results which all indicate low/no sodium except where glycol contamination exists..
As I indicated I have no answer for why some samples of Mobil 5000 have low/no sodium while others apparently do or were contaminated in the bottling process.. Murphy DOES exist in lube plants at times...

George, are you for real? Even Blackstone labs has pointed out from many UOA's posted here that sodium shows as an add package within your oil? Why and who are you trying to fool?

Perhaps what shows up to us as sodium is being noted as a different element by Mobil. That would have to be the only reason that George can not find it.

What are the ramification of a high sodium content?
(I'm using this oil currently)

Any more information on the Na content in this oil? Isn't it what Honda HG 5W-20 is (Mobile Clean 5000 5W-20=Honda HG 5W-20)? I'm using the Honda oil.
