and after thinking about it doc, since the angular momentum is a vector, a 2nd flywheel could be used to at least counteract the "precession" effect if needed. Also, since the torque produced from the gyroscopic effect is a vector, another seperate flywheel can be oriented to produce torque in the negative direction of the first. To me, it seems completely plausible.
