New HF Daytona 22-ton jack stands

I don’t know if I could trust any HF Jack stands lol. I think I’ll stick with my custom made vintage Model T Ford axle housing Jack stands that I swear are indestructible. That’s a hefty price for some Jack stands too.
they weigh 22 tons, they only hold about 2; What part of 22 ton jack stands don't you understand?
Hey! I like those! I'd have to see them in hand to say for sure. But i like that for heavy things over ratcheting. I need some for my truck. Ratcheting just does not seem heavy enough for a larger truck. Thanks for posting these, I have not seen them before.

A wise man once told me, "Never buy anything at Harbor Freight upon which your life may rely!"
I'd rather use the Harbor Freight jack stands than these overpriced Snap-On jack stands, which are also made in China, or CHN as Snap-On puts it hoping your dumb.

MANY companies market very similar Chinese 22 Ton Jackstands for well over $300. Is the Sunex, OTC, ESCO any better? Who's to say?

Well, the Harbor Freight stands are rated for twenty two tons, and the Snap-On for twelve, so for anything between 12 and 22 tons, if forced to choose only between the two, I would have to agree with you...
However for equally load rated stands, are you saying you would rather work under a car supported by Harbor Freight jack stands over Snap-On jack stands?
Regardless of the country of manufacture, I myself would choose the Snap-On stands...
Those are geared towards big trucks and equipment.
Yeha, oddly enough, I found myself at the store today, and they are quite large and beefy. Perhaps one set of HF jack stands I would feel comfortable using.
Well, if I were in the market for stands like those, I’d probably consider the ones with the rolling spring casters. Something similar to these omega stands…

I don't like the saddles on the majority of stands sold now either.
Wonder if they're sourcing them from the same supplier as ESCO?
The ESCO stands they ask you to compare them to are $70/ea.
Lifetime warranty and good support don't mean anything when a Buick is sitting on your chest.
I'm very happy with my 6 ton US Jack Stands. After all the recalls HF had with their jack stands I lost faith. OTOH they make a very good jack for the money.
