I bought a new bike, 2007 Honda CBR125R. 125cc thumper, using Honda's PGM-FI EFI system. Fuel economy so far is nice, 95 US MPG for the first fill-up. Should make a nice commuter for me.

That looks like a cool knock around bike. Honda does not sell them in the good ole USA. As for oil, use M1 10W-40 motorcycle oil.

Gilitar: $3399 CAD before taxes etc, which is nice in Canadian funds for a beginner bike. The Ninja/EX250 in the US is more bike for roughly the same money, about $3000 USD MSRP. We don't get the EX250F, we get the EX250H which is known as the ZZR250, for about $6299 CAD but can usually be found discounted down to around $5699 CAD.

I had a ZZR250 and I wanted a change. The CBR125R is definitely slower (half the displacement, roughly half or less the power), but the EFI is much nicer than the carbs on the EX (smoother delivery of... ummm... whatever power there is

and cold starts are so much better). Fuel mileage is better too

My kind of bike. I suppose cause its new you have not opened it up yet to see how fast it will go....I'm glad I got my ninja 250 though for bucking the headwinds and climbing hills...

Top speed, or how fast it will go, is whatever the posted speed limit is

plus what it takes to keep up with traffic so that I don't get run over or cause a rolling roadblack that will quickly get squashed...

Rumour has it that the bike will do anwyhere from 120km/hr (75mph) - 140km/hr (87mph), depending on the stature of the rider, but with optimistic speedometers and all it's probably right around 70mph.

Here are some little bikes although they are prolly not the quality of the Japs.
