I like the labels more too.

I doubt they will tell us more about the formulation, but I would like to know.
Pablo - maybe send a VOA?
You think it’s going to be API??Sure
I’m hoping for a non-compliant stout oil but that’s just not in the cards
Not formally of course but compliant like the last X yearsYou think it’s going to be API??
What do you mean by compliant? As compared to being “non-compliant” and stout? Additive levels? Not formally of course but compliant like the last X years

I see it as a niche product because it is optimized for cleaning but makes no claims regarding extended drain intervals. The latter has always been central to the marketing strategy for Mobil1 oils. Valvoline has changed the conversation. Personally I favor an oil that can handle extended drain intervals but others may have different priorities. How is it a niche product? I think it should be the default API spec oil option unless something else needed.
I don’t think that’s an accurate characterization. People seem to think that because it cleans it somehow loses other powers or something. It is an excellent API spec oil that also happens to clean and restore your engine back for factory levels of cleanliness. They say to follow your owner’s manual. So if your OM says you can do 10k OCIs then you can do it with VRP. And there have been absolutely pristine, as-good-as-it-gets UOAs with VRP on 10k OCIs.I see it as a niche product because it is optimized for cleaning but makes no claims regarding extended drain intervals. YesWhat does any of that have to do with a new Amsoil Signature Series formula? I feel like we are way off topic now.
I don’t think this link was posted yet:

At a glance, seems like they are claiming that the new Signature Series it has it “all” (shear stability, long drain interval, pistons stay clean, etc etc) with the exception that they do not claim to clean existing deposits à la Restore and Protect.
