Never liked the idea of a V6 stang, until this:

Not a fan of the sound. However, it's seems like it's a well sorted package.

It just needs a deeper, less buzzy/raspy exhaust note.

hope more v6 goodness like this keeps coming out from other American manufacturers

Is this mill based on the V-6 EcoBoost that was introduced in the F-150?

Nope, no Eboost.

Mechanically supercharged by the aftermarket, a hopped up Stang V6.

Not that it sounds bad, just that I grew up in a different era.

Could never live with those pipes.

what's REALLY amazing is that the stock 3.7 V6 puts out 305hp; the same as a '96 Cobra! and the '03 supercharged cobra only had 390hp...
put that in your pipe and smoke it...

The 03/04 4.6 Cobra engine was underrated from the factory, fully forged and can easily handle 600 rwhp. A buddy of mine has one with full bolt-ons, the stock eaton supercharger(with a pulley swap) and it made 550 rwhp. Would destroy this thing easily.

600? Try 1000RWHP.

I know a guy who tuned/tunes them quite frequently. He owned one that made 850 to the tires with a pair of hairdryers on it instead of the Eaton. His "daily driver" tune was 750RWHP running pump gas.

I would also be quite concerned about the longevity of the V6 in such a highly tuned state. I'm sure the Ecoboost motor has a ton of upgrades to handle boost... does this?

Bingo. The Termi was built with forged pistons, H-beam rods, steel crank....etc. I'm thinking this wasn't......

Yes, for all intents and purposes it (the Termi lump) was the domestic 2JZGTE in that respect, hence the 1000+rwhp ratings on stock bottom ends with big boost (and ALL of the ancillary supporting mods of course)!!
