The "Neue Klasse" tag refers to BMW's next-generation dedicated EV platform. Perhaps coming very late this year or next...
Avant-Garde... Very different; not for everyone.

Maybe there was some plan behind blessing some current models with cartoonish iterations of the kidney grille, prior to actually starting to do away with it.

Ooooh, just the car I need to show up my Tesla-driving neighbors! Much more avant-garde looks and it’s a BMW!

😎

Sarcasm aside, it’s actually great to see big changes in styling from a major manufacturer. Cars have been pretty static for a while, and a departure from the “norm” is refreshing. I think this one looks great. Maybe not a car I would buy, but certainly eye-catching.

It looks like what a car made in 2025 was supposed to look like in a Sci Fi movie made in the 1970's. If you remember from those films, most everything else they predicted things would look like turned out to be wildly inaccurate. From the clothing styles to household furnishings and features and general technology.

Not for everyone is an understatement. And it's another example of BMW needing to hire some new designers,

As BMW goes, all class and in a class by itself, if it ever makes it to market exactly as the photograph shows. The platform will make it but reading these comments I dont think anyone knows this is a "concept" car and photos have been available in Forbes since last fall.
One thing for sure, the traditional BMW look will be greatly modernized, yet either way, the car will scream as a status symbol. (maybe)

I think the back looks pretty sharp, i don't know about that grille thing.

The e39 grille looked good. They're a bit too big on the new BMWs.

I salute my BITOG bros for their consistency; their opinions are in concert with their Tesla opinions. That shows integrity.

Make mine the 1300 HP version. Glad you like the tail lights, cuz that's all you are likely to see! Ha!

if this is finally a ground up ev only architecture featuring their braggadocios 4680 tech im intrigued.

If this is some modular architecture designed to accommodate ev, hevs, phevs, and ice like their current models...yawn. Its better to just make those beautiful inline 6s on their own older platform. Free money to finance their ev ambitions

If those sci-fi movie predictions were accurate, this thing would also fly, on autopilot, with vertical takeoff and landing…
