Netflix star Rob ‘The Rabbit’ Pitts dies at 45

Rob had an amazing YouTube channel and seemed to excel at everything he did. I haven't seen his Netflix special but apparently last year he said that when he started his second season he started losing alot of weight which is a huge red flag. Instead of postponing his series he saw various physicians but that didn't really ever get to the root of the problem. Apparently he was diagnosed with stomach cancer not long ago but it was considered inoperable. I always thought if you had stomach cancer then get rid of the bad one and get a new one. He posted a video yesterday three hours before his death. Alot of people who followed his channel didn't know he was that bad off. He was one of the few channels where you felt like you knew him. Ed Bolian posted an in memoriam clip this morning. He has alot of great content. One day you're fine then boom you're not. Kind of crazy.

My favorite two stories was when he started selling vehicles at a Ford dealership. This is how he got the name rabbit. Apparently the owner was an ex boxer who had multiple head injuries over the years. Supposedly the star salesman at the dealership sold 8 vehicles a month. Rob convinced a customer who hated black vehicles to trade in all of his work trucks for either 6 or seven brand new F-150's in one transaction. Then the guys son also came back and bought several more in the same week. The second story was his shop class had a brand new frame straightening machine. Apparently his shop teacher had the hots for the front desk secretary and would disappear for two hours. Rob started charging dealerships money to use the school district shop frame straightening Machine and then pocketed the money.

I saw his Netflix show for the first time just a day before the posting here about his death. So sad ... however, he's left a legacy of great stories on VinWiki and they will keep his memory fresh for me for a long time.

I think this video will link to about fifty more so you can get your Rabbit fix easily. Hope the link works as I believe it will ...

In the last few days, I started to see snippets from Rob "rabbit" Pitts and thought maybe some BITOGERs' posted about him. Interesting guy, very talented storyteller.

Thanks @AZjeff for posting that if something doesn't seem right with our health to seek expertise from a medical professional and not to ignore it--- as many guys naturally do.
