Some others and I nominated a wheelchair bound co-worker for entry into this competition sponsored by the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association. When voting ends May 3rd NMEDA evaluates the entries of the top 5% by vote count of candidates, and chooses which three will be each awarded a fully equipped mobility vehicle.

Mr. Todd could stay at home on disability but he insists on working full time as a Crime Analyst.

Retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant and became a police officer. Spinal cord injury three years after being on the street, happened while assisting the fire dept. There's a 2 minute video that's worth watching that sums up why we nominated him.

This is a man who doesn't know how to stop serving, even in the face of a debilitating and permanent injury. In 2012 he was the Indiana recipient of the prestigious Theodore Roosevelt Police Award for severly injured officers.

If you could vote for him it would be great!

If you could make voting for him part of your daily internet routine (NMEDA encourages voting once per day per internet IP), that would be even greater!!

If you could also use the icon on the voting page to help get it shared all over facebook that would be greatest!!!

Every vote counts and every vote is deeply appreciated. He never would have entered himself in this, which is why we got together and did it.

Hoping my fellow BITOG'ers can help!

Thanks for reading!
