need some help with a kohler engine please????

I use the white can`s with very good results.

white cans being purolator classic's? do yiu use the "white cans" on the kohler engine like mine?

well fellas i thought i would update what i did. i decided to change the oil and go with a 10w30 since that was what was called for in the manual. i stayed with the puralator classic and used some Pennzoil High Mileage 10w30 for the chosed oil. in my mind the hm will be a little extra protection as compared to Pennzoil conventional. did i screw up with the high mileage oil in my lawn tractor?

No, the HM will be fine. Did you notice any difference in the way it runs.

I have the 20 Horse V-twin Courage motor. Been using GC since first oil change,Except one time I used Valvoline VR-1 Racing Synthetic. That oil was like butter in it. (but I have a rather large stash of GC I want use up.)

it is too early to tell as of yet as i didn't notice any problems with my other combo until it sat for 2 weeks or so w/o cranking. i will say that it ran fine,but so did the rts in it, with the Pennzoil High Mileage but the tesy will be if it clatters until warm-up when i crank it again. i will update this thread when i have enough data to back my statement up.
