2020 Kona - need some advice on jack points.

I have a 2020 hyundai kona limited. I want to get both wheels off the ground with jackstands on both sides. I think i can lift from the crossmember behind the bottom engine mount. There is not much online except for techs saying on most cars you can jack from the crossmember. Just doing my oil change, the ramps i have are scary, with my dct.

Put it in L when driving up the ramps

wow howd you find that? Ive searched forever and didnt pull that up. thanks. Id assume the cross member is strong enough, but the ai said its bad lol so it got me double checking again

Usually the owners manual has jack points in them.

The challenge is getting a jack stand under a jack point which is being used by the jack.

There are some jack & stand systems which are designed to address this by nesting together.

This the crossmember, or sometimes a jacking pad, under the center of the vehicle. Sometimes the hitch or two hook on the rear is used.

OP needs to read owners manual and validate what is stated in there.
