I'm helping a friend change the oil on his two outboards.

1) Mercury 1115F131D (115 HP, 2016), and;
2) Honda BF50A (50 HP, 2007)

These will get light use on a Lake in the northeast US. Im looking for recommendations on oil specs/ weights, and type (dyno, FS or blend). Also, filter recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Manual for the Merc says 10w-30 thru 25w-40 is OK, and does not specify dyno, blend or FS. Honda says 5w-30, with no further info

Tons of people use whatever off the shelf 15w-40 or 15/20w-50 on old or hard ran outboard engines. Can't go wrong with a wire backed metal capped fram endurance they cross reference to. For the mercury it says it crosses to the fe2. For the honda it crosses to the fram 6607 or 7317 but they're the same in everything but length as the 7317 is a bit longer and would be the one I'd use if there's space.

If you have a Bass pro close by they have a good deal on their brand FWC 10-30, and 25-40. made by Amalie should be good.

Walmart has a gallon of genuine Mercury for $55. But any brand of good 10w30 to 25W-40will work: a regular premium car engine oils or Mercury/Honda/Yamaha. For the use your describe I'd go with the lighter oil: 10W30. You will be fine. Get the OEM Mercury and Honda filters.
