These are my snow tires and drag use rims. I am looking for a center cap from chevy that will work with this generic wheel. I am sick of metal push thru caps rusting out. Ideas??? Uploaded with ImageShack.us This looks ok not a fan of these. http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/5099071438/lightbox/

In the old days you could buy push thru black plastic caps too....Dont know whatever happened to those.

I had not heard of Push-Through center caps. Do those replace dust covers? Are they used only on lug-centric wheels? If I search on Push-Thru center plastic or Push-Through center plastic I get hits. It is not clear if you are only looking for center caps with a Chevy emblem.

Took me a long time to come up with these for my winter wheel application, but I stumbled upon them looking for unrelated trailer parts. I have ones for 5 x 4½ bolt pattern, but they are available in your 6 x 5½ bolt pattern as well. Made out of ABS plastic, and sold for "trailer wheels." They work by holding on to the lug nuts themselves with tension. Very secure and snug. I got black ones, and painted them silver to match silver wheels. You can get them in white (intended obviously for white trailer wheels), black and chrome. I ordered them through www.easternmarine.com, which was by far the cheapest place to get these. black: http://www.easternmarine.com/QuickTrim-Black-ABS-Trailer-Hub-Cover-6-on-5-1/2 chrome: http://www.easternmarine.com/QuickTrim-Chrome-Trailer-Hub-Cover-6-on-5-1/2-0 Not exactly the same as on the police Tahoe, but reasonably close in my opinion.

I like this trailer wheel caps just not for this truck. So far I found the older style police tahoes 99-06 use these http://www.autoamenity.com/KartList/C5129.htm I am looking for the smaller profile caps like that picture above. I am olny finding ones that need to bolt onto the actual wheel. I do not want to drill into my new rims.
