I just found out the reason my clutch pedal on my 89 Honda Prelude Si 4WS is engaging so close to the floor. It has been been turned down a lot and I'm missing a lot of metal. I can't buy an OEM flywheel from Honda. Any ideas? I want quality.

Fidanza was good stuff last I checked. That was a while ago, though. Can you track down a non-Honda branded flywheel from an OEM supplier?

Didnt help on our integra. One of the reasons I was never happy with that trans - the shifter was great, the clutch always lousy compared to similar age (and previous generation) BMW. Did Honda stop making them completely? I wonder if a good used one would be doable?

There should be pedal height adjustments, freeplay adjustments in the connecting rod to a hydraulic system, and cable adjustments for freeplay. Any minor geometry change to the fork should be able to be comnpensated for.

Fidanza and Clutchmasters make good clutches and flywheels, though are the only two companies I have bought from that make parts for almost any car.

No can do. It has been turned down way too much. Clutch engages almost at floor. Too close for me....

OK, I'll check them out.

I found a free one in a parts trailer at a honda repair shop in Greensboro, NC. 3 hour drive but it works like a charm!!!! Picked it up Friday and installed it this morning.
