Need a new screwdriver set

There are so many good brands but if someone wants great quality for everyday use you cant beat the old school snap on black handles.
These were made in the 60's -80's until Snap on went off the rails offering a multitude of colors at prices that would leave PB Swiss execs eyes wide open, they are not worth the money IMO but when they sell the same drivers, in the original black still made in the USA and branded Williams for less than 1/3 the price they are a steal. The Williams ratcheting screwdriver is the same as Snap on and made by Snap on only without the knurling on the shaft for half the price.

Have a 15 year old craftsman acetate set. It’s just time to get some new ones.

I don’t want to spend a ton. Just want something quality and balancing price.

Would appreciate the advice if you all
What’s their primary use? For automotive I like channellock screwdriver set with the metal striker caps. Electrical I use Klein, Greenlee, ideal and south wire I have several tool bags so a bit of each. Plumbing usually a good 6 in 1 or an 8 inch Phillips or slotted. Husky, Stanley and kobalt makes a good screwdriver

Masterforce from Menards have a decent set that's affordable and quality,,and lifetime warranty, comfortable to use also.

This is a pretty decent set for the price at Home Depot. The handles are much more comfortable to use than the acetate handle Craftsman screwdrivers.

This is the set I was going to recommend. If you are looking for an inexpensive screwdriver set, but are actually decent quality, these fit the bill. The grip is a combination of soft grip rubber and hard plastic. It fits well in my hand, and I can really grip them well. The tip is also good quality. These have become the preferred screw drivers in my tool box.

I've got a question I've been thinking about lately.

Concerning the OPs Craftsman set. Aren't these covered by a lifetime warranty? I've got a similar set from the 70s that are getting long in the tooth. Will have to ask about this next time I'm in Lowes.

Has anybody else come across this situation ?
They are warrantied and all you have to do is go into Lowes and you are out with another in no time.

My Vessel screwdrivers, I like a lot of choices.
