Heh heh. Pay? I have been fixing up freebies for20 yrs. I started with beats mowers with a 3 1/2 hoss B+S . Then a buddy gave me 2 3spd Toros. A Suzuki 2 stroke and a one with a Tecumseh. Then I got a sitdown. and a Lawnboy for a trimmer. I now have another Toro, a 3spd with a Suzuki 4 stroke. It needed a wheel bolt. It starts on the first, providing I remember to open the fuel shutoff. I also have a spare Lawnboy with a Tecumseh OHV. It needed 2 3/8 engine mount bolts. All stuff I had on hand. Both started on the gas left in their tanks. It has been sitting all folded up under a bench for 5yrs. The Toro is over 20 yrs old but runs like a watch. All it gets are oil changes and blade sharpens. Its not very shiny, but it is a great trimmer where the sit down is too clumsy. The sit down looks like moving junk heap. It started life as '77 IH Cadet 80,a faux Cub Cadet with an 8 hoss vertical B+S flat head. I got mine re-engined with a an 11 hoss B+S I/C. I mow 30 K sq feet every week May -October. It cuts what passes for my lawn.
