Came across this watch, looked good, and at $90 USD, fits my budget:

The thingy which tells time will fall off! Like them thingys which keep jets in the air!+

But it does look good. And is probably a fine watch

Too much goin' on with that Thang. Less is more.
Have both a Tissot and Citizen that look great - but ridiculous process in setting up the “wheel house”…
End result - one of the boys will take them from her jewelry box when I’m gone …

Not a fan of the BOEING logo but it's not a deal killer because it is a nice looking watch made of SS and < $100.
The watch is a nice size of 42mm and I like where the sundials are located and being a chronograph, that the dial(face) isn't over cluttered with a date window(most likely would be at 4:00). And the strap looks to be well made and likely to be comfortable.

In fact, I like the blue dial(3 hand/date at 6:00) watch w/tan leather strap that they also show on that site. HOWEVER!
I'd like to know more about the internal movement and what/who makes it? I know it's a quartz but what quartz movement, from which Japanese mfg? What is the movement number?

Doesn't say Japan Movement or Swiss Made on dial. Most likely Made in China with a Miyota movement. Not bad

The description on their website says it’s a Japanese movement. But the website is vague and doesn’t give a whole lot more info. And the site is incorrect in the description of the black dial & bezel, stating that it is gradual blue. But says the same for the blue watch.
I’m just picking on it a little. ;)
It is a nice looking watch.(y)

I like simple stainless bands with a black clockface and no buttons appendages. Seiko or Bulova.

Knurl on rotating bezel is poorly defined, same with casework. Cheap plating. If you happen to be seated next to a FO it would be embarrassing. I would pass. Pretty much worthless.

I used to wear one of these fifty buck quartz chunks for a knockaround. I am a rubber band man.

The only quartz watches I will buy these days are those that are solar recharged, such as the Citizen Ecodrive or the Seiko Solar. I have some that are over 10 years old and have never required any attention of any kind, other than readjustment of calendars and daylight saving time adjustments. And some of the more advanced ones correct themselves with over the air time signals.
