National motor oil

I've recently seen this motor oil added to the inventory at the local Menards store.

I looked at a bottle once and i think it said it was made by Pinnacle oil company?

I'm not sure.

Is anyone using it? or heard of it or the company?

Its a cheaper oil at about 1.87 a quart.

May never use it but it has be curious.

Pinnacle Oil Company is based in Indianapolis. They blend several gas-station and house-brand oils in the Midwest.

I say if its an SM or SN rated oil, its worth a try at that price. I may have to check it out next time I hit Menards.

On the front page of The Petroleum Quality Institute home page is a blurb on Pinnacle. I don't know if it's a non sponsored link, so google PQIA. Should be an OK oil, and quite possibly better than most...
