Nasty windstorms did my corn in

I feel your pain. The one year we planted corn we had just gotten to the point where I told the wife 'I'm going to pick that and we'll have it tomorrow when your folks come over'. We hadn't planted a ton.

Next day, wake up, go down to pick it. Deer had eaten EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Haven't planted any since I was so p-ed off.
Deer got a good portion of my maters first year I grew them. Who knew deer liked red ripe maters? Not this guy. And those sorry sacks of venison tended to take one or 2 chomps out of every single one. There were enough for man and beast, yet beast just HAD to sample them ALL
