Wondering what is the general consensus regarding NAPA 5W/20 and 5W/30 Full Synthetic motor oil? I see they have it on sale during the month of Oct.

I'm using it in my Jeep right now. It is rebranded Valvoline Synpower with a slightly weaker add pack. IMO it's great stuff but then again I've been a Valvoline man since I came out of the womb.

Good Valvoline oil with a slightly weaker add pack as mentioned. Will hold up just as good as Synpower but just not for as long.

Use with confidence!

That's what I thought.

How well do you think this NAPA syn will do with a 7500 mile OCI in a turbocharged engine?

I'd bet the Syntec would run longer.

I'm running it right now in the 3.8 n/a engine in my Buick. The stuff looks almost clear on the dipstick (of course it only has 220 miles on it right now!).

My plan is to run 7 months, ~6300 miles, until next April, but if I do any road trip stuff over Christmas, I might hit 7000.

You're putting money on a dino/syn blend over a full syn? Not just any Full syn. either but a Valvoline syn? Yeah....no.

Love the stuff! Been using it for a while. Good Valvoline Synthetic oil. Use with confidence. The price is right!
