This being essentially a Premium Guard oil filter… These filters really are very, very well manufactured.

That’s why I started a thread on them because these are a good everyday deal.

Same reason Federated auto parts puts their name on this same filter. They buy them for cheap and sell them branded for double. Looks like Premium Guard is making a lot of filters for people.

Looks like Napa is going in a similar direction as O’Reilly, or M&H is outsourcing their jobber lines to Premium Guard.

This basically is a MC FL-910S

The posted NAPA Proformer doesn't look like the FL-910S made by M+H/Purolator. Motorcrafts don't use a coil spring in the dome to hold the internals tight. And Vietnam CoO, and no M/C date code.

Looks decent. Seems it's a jobber equivalent filter and perhaps Napa with a new supplier for that level filter.
