Off of a 2024 Toyota Camry at work. 6k on whatever oil and this filter.

In/on: Safety Kleen 0w20 and PROTEC 51394

I've seen some of these Indian made premium Guard filters & I'm not impressed so far. Thanks for cutting it.

Depends, Vietnam or China seem to be good quality. I went in & looked at a Microgard basic for my Volvo. It was a Made in India & looked okay for the $5 but I'd not pay much more than that. I do like the holes on the center tube though.

Most of the PROTECS this size are India made. I’m betting winter driving didn’t help this filter.

Apparently there isn't an Advanced Filtration Inc (VFI) factory in India like there is in Vietnam and China. They must be using different media on this one, or that engine had a ton of moisture in the oil from short trip use.
