Napa gold vs. Wix flow

Napa's website has different specs on the filters for my jeep than the wix site.

Napa says the gold version of wix 51085 has a flow of 9-11, but wix says that the 51085 has a flow of 7-9.

Oversize FL1A equivilant (wix 51515) and napa gold version are both 7-9.

Is it possible that one of the sites are wrong, or would wix make a different flow rate for the napa gold.

Reason I ask is that I'd like to run the fl1a or 51515, but not if the flow rate would be less than needed. I know many people run those on their jeep 4.0s with no issues, but I just had to replace my engine, and I used to run the fl1a. Dont think it caused the problem (blown up piston skirt and bearings going bad), but I want to be absolutely sure before putting my last fl1a on there or getting the 51515.

Thanks

Don't worry about it either way. The 4.0 has no demand for high flow, so to speak. You don't have the Niagara Falls flow to the top end like a SBC does. You'll be lucky to 'need' 5 gpm of flow capacity. Even if you have a high volume oil pump, it's just not going to squeeze through the engine. I installed a HV oil pump (9gpm @ 3500, IIRC) and I'm up against the relief valve off idle in any oil above a 5w-20 synth.

You can use the FL1A sized filter. Just make sure that your motor mounts are in good shape.
