What's the opinion around here on Napa Gold oil filters? I've used them many times over the years, but I don't know if they are considered a top tier filter.

Napa's "top tier" filter would be the Platinum, but the Gold is certainly an excellent filter.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that the Platinum is Napa's extended life filter for long OCI's but the Gold provides better filtering. The Gold is all I use.

Sorry, fellows. I see the filtration section now and will post there in the future when appropriate.
Napa Gold are excellent filters (WIX) and they come with a superb anti-drain-back-valve. A bit pricey, but if there is a need (performance motor, severe duty cycle, etc.) they are a very sound choice
