Napa Air Filters

I just took out my K&N airfilter and exchanged it for a Napa Gold Filter. They gave me a heavy duty filter which is twice a thick as the normal one and the K&N filter for that matter.

Will this filter be ok or is it too constricting.

Napa Gold should flow great & filter just as good for a long time. Not a bad choice at all for a paper filter.

I also got one of the heavy duty ones for my Dad's Blazer. Couldn't tell any difference in performance, but **** that filter is thick!

I replaced my K&N air filter in our 2002 Camaro with a NAPA Gold and noticed no performence differance at all. I think the NAPA will perform and protect just fine! I think K&N air filters are crap! They advertise "better performence and more HP" it made no difference at all so they can take there air filters and elevated silicon levels and shove it!
