Well, it will be a movie car when I get done shooting it, editing it, and entering it in Film Festivals.

The pic from the rear is the actual color. The top pic is in shadow and almost looks black.

It was painted about a year and a half before we got it. I have rebuilt the whole car otherwise. The engine is a 331 stroker. I designed and machined (I am a Toolmaker) custom parts for it. I don't show the engine compartment anymore as I prefer to keep wraps on it until the movie comes out.

She originally wanted a convertible but after 3 months of looking we realized we would not be able to afford it. She decided to "settle" on this coupe and figured after I fixed it up some we could sell it for more money that we could put down on a convertible. Well, it's been 7 years now and it's NOT for sale now.

This is one of the two custom billet speaker grills I designed and machined for her car. From this you may be able to imagine what some underhood stuff might be like. The image of the grill is slightly distorted by the rear glass.

Hey, Steve, do you and you're wife work at the Cleveland Engine Assembly plant, out of curiosity?

My wife does. I work in Avon Lake at the Ohio Assembly Plant.

IMO, you are better off with the coupe anyway. Better torsional resistance and no cowl shake.

Thanks guys. I added subframe connectors on this one just like I would have on a convertible. I also added a 1" front anti-sway bar and did the "Shelby drop." The front disc brake spindles (originally all drums) are from a 1976 Granada. Originally all manual, I put a power brake booster on it from a 1987 Mustang and a custom aluminum aftermarket master cylinder. I put new springs on it all around, with 6 cylinder coils in front. The aluminum heads, intake, and fiberglass hood with steel reinforcement really takes a lot of weight off the front. When you hit the pedal good the front of the car comes up. Pretty cool, lots of fun. I built the engine for the street so it has lots of torque down low. She wanted a "nice" idle too, which meant nothing too radical.

LOL! As a matter of fact....

The girl driving my wife's Mustang actually owns the 1994 blue Mustang with the 2 guys in it. She built the supercharged engine for her car herself. She is an Engineer for Firestone. The passenger in that car is my son. The diver is the Dorito's Darlin's husband. We had a ball shooting that.

When she pulls up on the knob the sound you hear is the REAL sound of my wife's Mustang, of course from a different location though.
