Toro 724 from the late 1980s, Clarence kit using old motorcycle tire chunks, 6.5 hp grayhound engine with carb main jet drilled and no air filter. Was doing a 2/3 wide path after the first cut-through in 2nd gear.

Darn, should have done that. Thought about it too. Decided against it as mom and I had an appointment with the dealer. That's a lot of snow though lol, that thing is just chugging away. Hows that Chonda handle the snow with the clarence kit? I don't think the 208cc one on ours would quite be able to handle it, with snow to the top/over the top of the intake.

I forget! Think it's rotella 15w40. Not perfectly appropriate.

It's been 12-14'F here for the last couple days during and after the storm.

Is it hand or electric start? How does it start with the 15-40? Also I talked to the wife's niece today and they had a little over two feet just south of Bath.

A 0w-40 or 5w-40 would be more appropriate.

It starts on the first pull, pretty easy. Has a compression release on the valves. The 15w40 was just break in oil but I haven't reached five hours in the thing yet. I have cases of M1 0w40 and Mag1 5w40 on reserve. Changing the oil will be a mess as the drain is on top of a flat part of the deck. Will probably tilt it significantly for the drain.

Agreed - excellent plan!

LOL yes. One can see my mailbox in the upper left corner at the start of the video, my driveway is around 65 feet long by one lane that widens into two near the garage. And gravel so I don't get the bottom inch of snow or ice and actually prefer it for smoothness when it ices up.

Well I figured out how to drain it, now with 10% less mess! M1 T&SUV 5w30 in.
